Brand New Model Railway Build: The LadyKillers Ep. 1

Not long after I finished building Brief Encounter Monochrome, and as I started to exhibit it on the circuit, I started to be asked a certain question:
What's your next layout going to be?
Perhaps another monochrome layout? Or one in sepia? Or maybe another film theme? - people suggested.
Hmm... a film theme? That sounded appealing.
But which one: Lawrence of Arabia. St Trinian's? The Train?
One film kept coming to mind... and as it happens to be an old favourite of mine, I started toying with the idea of a model railway layout based on.. The Ladykillers.
