Who remembers Brentford Nylon ads, Buzby, Double Diamond, Green Shield Stamps (now known as Argos) Radio Rentals, Milk Tray, Laker Airways, Bejams (now Iceland), Beaties models, Ever Ready Batteries, plus classic cinema posters for films like The Sweeney. On The Buses and Logan's Run. Also ads for Honey Monster and British Leyland, station signs and station adverts for the new 125 and Sealink and H E Harrington Ironmongers, a real shop and the inspiration for the famous Two Ronnies  4 candles sketch (the shop is still going in Broadstairs).

 

Maybe buy some Lyons Maid lollies as you notice The Who poster and remember ‘Lets Get Busy with The Fizzy'. And why not have a  night at the theatre to see panto with Mike and Bernie Winters, or Des O Conner.   Includes some nice 70’s stone cladding wall for your new bungalow
